AC3 codec is not needed for mx player v1.9.3 and up; only DTS codec is needed that also if you want to play DTS audio video files.
This audio format (AC3) is not supported. Is the message I get with the newest version plus I can’t use the neon codec pack until version 1.9.0 comes out.
Ah, fingered it out, you need to download the mxneon.zip file. Use that one through the MxPlayer app. Worked for me.
